Research Manager / Associate Director – Healthcare
Remote (North America) $75,000 – $130,000 (based on experience)
Bryter are recruiting for a Senior Research Executive to join their Healthcare team. The job is based out of our New York US HQ, but also working with colleagues in the UK. Whilst the office is in New York, we’re happy for the role to be 100% remote if that’s what you want; so, you could be based anywhere in North America! You’d come in for socials and when [absolutely] necessary (expenses paid).

As an RM/Associate Director you will be central to client engagement and project delivery, working with clients and colleagues to deliver great research that impacts on decision making to have a tangible impact on their marketed brands or products in development.
Our research covers the whole life cycle of projects, with projects looking at a broad range of topics from early-stage drug development through to informing digital engagement strategies.
What will you be doing?
You will play a prominent, client-facing role in the successful management and delivery of primary market research studies (from brief / proposal through debrief). This will include:
Managing research end-to-end from set-up, through design and execution of projects with some supervision (from senior researchers and specialist teams, e.g., in-house innovation and methodology team).
Provide guidance, support and coaching to junior members of the project team
Efficiently manage personal resources/workloads as well as those across your project team.
Support the development of client partnerships as a trusted consultant to their business.
Contribute to designing innovative, winning proposals and pitching in response to complex, challenging briefs

What do you need to bring to Bryter?
Keen interest and knowledge of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry
Previous MR experience working with pharmaceutical brands, medical devices, and/or digital health solutions.
Interest in working with a wide range of clients, across a range of disease areas and product life stages.
Ability to design research approaches/materials according to client business needs / product life cycle (with minimal supervision)
Good knowledge of the principles of ad-hoc research techniques (qualitative and/or quantitative)
Experience across a range of studies covering different business objectives
Interest in proactively developing, maintaining, and growing client relationships through partnership and strong delivery of work
Enjoyment of the challenge of delivering on complex topics and briefs, working to make outputs engagement and impactful
Willingness to directly work with clients and to present findings confidently
Experience of designing and writing reports and presenting to clients
Experienced and confident to take the lead on projects, direct team members (insight, operations) and suppliers.
Be open to Line managing junior team members (Junior – Senior Research Execs), including mentoring and ongoing reviews.

Bryter benefits
35 Hour week (with periodic flexibility due to the ad-hoc nature of the work).
25 days holiday (increasing 1 day per year to 30 days) + 10 Federal Holidays
Paid Maternity: 14 weeks 100% salary (incl. any State contribution) + up to 12 weeks unpaid (eligible after 26 weeks continuous employment)
