Position Overview
Tectonics is looking for a passionate, results driven candidate who thrives in a growing environment! The role of the Sales Development Representative (SDR) is to develop leads to maximize time spent by our sales team performing selling activities, thereby increasing new business development activities. The SDR will be trained by our sales department to learn the company and industry. Experienced sales team will provide continued mentoring and support to drive SDR success.
Essential Job Functions
Cultivate new business opportunities through phone, email, social media, etc.
Drive quality leads and opportunities to sales team
Develop new strategies to increase business leads and sales
Meet various leads and sales quotas per month to earn commission
Qualifications
Excellent and professional verbal and written communication
Highly competent in the use of LinkedIn and other networking platforms
Highly organized, able to organize leads for many sources (web, social, phone, email, etc) and ensure timely and accurate follow-up
Positive representation of customer centric culture. They represent the first impression of Tectonics. Demonstrate the ability to aggressively pursue objectives without devaluing our brand.
An ability to be persistent, self-directed, creative, and organized.
An ability to manage rejection, be flexible, solve problems, take direction, and operate with integrity.
Ability to learn and apply recent sales skills.
Intermediate competency with MS Office, Internet, CRM, and related systems.
Ability to multi-task various projects with high level of detail in a fast-paced environment
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Education and Experience
2-5 years Sales experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
Knowledge of manufacturing and materials within the exhibit industry preferred
Work Conditions
Ability to work irregular hours may be required to meet project deadlines.

Tectonics is based in Auburn Hills, MI, and operates production facilities in Auburn Hills and Las Vegas. We have three business units that all exemplify excellence in digital print technology: print-on-demand (B2B); exhibit and retail (B2B); direct to consumer (DTC).
Print-on-demand: our partners sell DTC across a variety of personalized apparel, home décor and packaging websites. We perform the entire operations value chain from order ingestion to consumer fulfillment for print-cut-sew and other products. We specialize in mass personalization of manufacture-to-fulfillment products – with zero inventory – and also provide product development & fashion design capabilities in-house.
Exhibit and retail: we design and manufacture visual communication experiences for tradeshows, brick-and-mortar stores and a variety of other venues requiring visual signage, graphics and display structures. We employ digital manufacturing methods across aluminum extrusion profiles; tubing; dye sublimation; and 3D printed parts. Products are typically custom designs, along with a family of parametric structures.
Direct to consumer: we operate our own DTC eCommerce brands and online storefronts. our production model is low- to no-inventory and is manufacture-to-fulfillment. Products span a variety of consumer and home décor categories. Additional stealth home décor brand scheduled to launch in FY21.We are a fast-growing, high-technology and innovative company that is entrepreneurial in nature.
