Job Description Summary
Job Description
Picks up bagged samples of raw product from assigned storages and bring said samples back to the plant or other designated area.
Responsible for operating Company-assigned vehicles in a safe manner and for performing pre-trip inspections of the vehicle.
Refuels vehicle as needed.
Actively practices and abides by all Company work, safety and personal hygiene rules and regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or lead personnel.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Possess a valid Washington State Driver’s License appropriate for the vehicle being driven.
Communicate in the English language in both oral and written form.
Read and comprehend traffic road signs, symbols, maps, simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos written in English.
Operate a CB or 2-way radio
Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees of the organization.
Assess and evaluate road conditions, think critically, and utilize good judgment to make decisions regarding safe travel.
Two of the four needed will need to complete ConAgra’s driving program.
Meet the vision requirements and other physical requirements of the job.
Climb in and out of the cab of the pickup truck provided.
Lift up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis.
Work safely around traffic from trucks, tractors, forklifts and other personnel.
Follow company policies and procedures.
