Updated 5-27-22 (New Human Resources Analyst role in Marietta) Vaco Atlanta is looking for an HR Analyst to work with one of our clients in Marietta. The primary focus of this position is to provide data reporting and analysis to our client’s management team and serve the company’s employee population. Targeted compensation for this role is $40 – $50 an hour and there is perm potential. Also, this is a HYBRID role requiring 50% time in our client’s Marietta location SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the HR Analyst is the upkeep of all system personnel changes, maintenance and training of the human resource information system (HRIS) and compiling HR data, metrics, and statistics that can be applied for operational decision making related to recruitment, retention, compliance, and staffing. This position serves as a technical point of contact and assists with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
Strong excel skills with ability to perform V-lookups, pivot tables, etc. quickly and accurately – Need for individual to combine/manipulate multiple data sets
Develop and prepare timely interpretive reporting, analysis, trends, and forecasts.
Analysis of budgets, forecasts, trends, and recommendations of correction and focus areas
Ability to perform basic financial analysis to assess multiple options for consideration
Attention to detail and ability to analyze data to ensure accuracy
Management reporting and analysis, including preparation and review of analyses for leadership
Plan and manage tasks, projects and initiatives with HR and cross-functional partners
Ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.
Other duties as required – may request some administrative support (i.e. supporting job description updates, crafting and updating presentations and timelines, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, computer science or related field required, or the equivalent of 3-5 years related experience.
3+ years of HRIS or HR Generalist or related Analyst experience; preferred in a multi-state HR department.
HRIS experience using an enterprise HRIS systems (ADP, Workday, Success Factors etc..)
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office; especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proficient with excel to include formulas, charts, linking, vlookups and pivot tables.
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
Exercises sound judgment in responding to HR inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes
