U Rent It is a 75-year-old local equipment rental business located in Wyoming, MI. We carry a full line of construction, lawn and garden and home repair equipment.

Your Role:
We are seeking a motivated service technician to join our team. Responsibilities include, diagnosing equipment failures, performing repairs, and completing maintenance work. We are looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, motivated to deliver quality work, and organized.
Responsibilities:
The job duties required by this position include but are not limited to:
· Independently performs diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on rental equipment.
· Experience with the mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in off road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment
· Strong knowledge of trailers, parts and heavy equipment (welding and fabrication skills a plus!)
· Preventative maintenance schedule and our parts inventory.
· Valid driver’s license required
· Service technician certification preferred, but not required.
· Ability to lift 60lbs
· Good communication skills
Schedule:
· 8-10-hour shift
· Day shift
· Monday to Friday
· Overtime
· Weekend availability
