SME – Soft Services
Property and Asset Management
What this job involves
Will be responsible for raising the standards of housekeeping, horticulture, pest control, hospitality, customer relations, etc. across the region.
Responsibilities and Expectations as an Organization
Makes periodic inspections of the properties to determine if housekeeping, horticulture, pest control, hospitality and other services are adequate and reviews subordinate team knowledge for adequacy
Develops and establishes strategic policies and objectives consistent with those of the organization to ensure efficient and safe operation
Excellent knowledge of the subject like 5S, usage of housekeeping tools & tackles, MSDS, six sigma, chemical usage, safe work methods, planning, garbage management, market pricing, landscaping, fertilizers, pest control methodologies, complaint management, customer relationship, etc.
Your input and ideas will be sought to help steer the team in directions that help make the facility more quality driven
Responsible for overall upkeep of the properties to high standards of operations, maintenance, and cleanliness
Well versed with automation and technology implementation in Softservices
Implement property soft services procedures and performance measures, and ease the path for compliance with these
Impart training and coaching sessions and guide team members
Ensure quality service delivery without compromising with safety rules
Must be innovative in approach and solution driven
Ensures to review vendor activities and suggest process or policy changes
Develops and implements ISO systems and processes to establish and maintain records
You’ll also boost on-site operations by promoting industry best practices and developing better processes
Review and ensure implementation of the processes
Effectively resolve complex issues through quantitative methods and holistic approaches
Preferably someone from PAM industry experience
Must be Mobile and capable of working anywhere
Whatever mix-ups or jams that you spot, you should be quick to figure out the resolution
Self-driven and team player with an ability to lead from front
The ideal candidate can effectively resolve complex issues through quantitative methods and holistic approaches
You’ll also need to be a goal-oriented manager who is an expert in health and safety requirements, vendor management and property technical systems management
You’ll spend a lot of time working with different kinds of people—that’s why strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
Must have excellent people’s skill
Effective mix of strategic and tactical thought process
Must have experienced working in heavily matrixed environments and leading by influence
In addition to the above-mentioned duties and job functions, any other assignments given by Management
Client:
You will be working from Regional Office, located at Kolkata and travelling to the properties as and when required by the Management.
Reporting:
You will be reporting to Zonal Lead – East.

Being Analytical and Meticulous
You must pay attention to detail and have excellent problem-solving skills. You will be building, maintaining, supporting, and validating the performance of subordinate staff workings. You will also be applying knowledge of administration; for program, resources, and staff and demonstrate the ability to manage others and to communicate information effectively with the internal & external customers along with leadership skills.
Qualifications
You need to have a Degree in Housekeeping/ Hospitality, preferably MBA with minimum 8 years of work experience inclusive of Execution and Advisory roles played in the past.
Excellent in communication & Articulation skills (English)- both written and spoken
Must have played the role of Advisor and Internal Auditor in the past.
Other qualifications that will earn you brownie points will include
Proficient Knowledge in functional area of soft services
Adequate software exposure like MS office etc.
Tertiary qualifications in hotel management
