Nursing Assistant Student at Providence Centralia Hospital
The Student Nursing Assistant is a student currently enrolled in, or recently completed but awaiting certification, from an approved nursing assistant program. Functions under the direct supervision of the Manager, Program Supervisor, or designee and within the scope of practice that the Manager, Supervisor, or designee has determined is appropriate based upon the skills of the Student Nursing Assistant. Upon completion of a nursing assistant program and prior to licensure, or while enrolled in a nursing assistant program, the Student Nursing Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure that the assigned patient(s) remains safe. The Student Nursing Assistant will document all patient care activities. Also performs non-direct patient care duties as assigned.
Required qualifications:

H.S. Diploma or GED
Enrolled in, or admitted to, a nursing assistant program that qualifies candidate to be eligible for the National Nurse Aid Assessment
