Individual Contributor – 3

Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions. Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain. Analyzes complex material requirements. Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan. Determines part number attributes. Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability. Ensures on-time delivery. Documents and resolves order delinquencies. Reports schedule adherence issues. Develops and controls inventory plans. Optimizes inventory levels. Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories. Initiates audits. Develops and creates schedules for products and services. Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals. Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance. Works under general direction.

Advanced knowledge of product/service value stream

Regulatory Systems

Knowledge of company, state, and/or federal compliance regulations (e.g., import/export, intellectual properties, International Standards Organization [ISO], Federal Aviation Administration [FAA], Joint Aviation Authorities [JAA]).AICC, ADL SCORM).

Scheduling Requirements

Knowledge of customer and supplier requirements to support program deliveries for example planned versus unplanned demand, economic order quantity, resource planning, material type, manufacture or purchase, lead times.

Supply Chain Knowledge

Knowledge of supply chain requirements (e.g., replenishment, repairs, cycle time, inventory levels, scrap rate, pricing, suppliers, contracts) and the affect on the business and profitability.

Supply Chain Strategy

Advanced knowledge of supply chain strategies (e.g., inventory reduction, parts kitting, supplier consolidation, optimum flow, lead-time reduction).

Systems Thinking

Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area. This includes the ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance.
