Job Description :
Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines, perform activities associated with the delivery of Supply & Distribution services. Assist in resolution of routine problems and process improvements.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma. Approximately six months previous experience in a warehouse or stock department or requisitioning, ordering, or receiving supplies environment in order to gain a working knowledge of the operations and procedures. Valid Michigan’s driver’s license in order to operate a variety of fork lifts, vans, and the like.
Prefer previous experience with Sterile material handling experience or related Supply Chain experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Occasional (up to 20 percent of work time) potential for physical injury including back/muscle strain when lifting or moving items and cuts from razors/knives when opening packages. Ability to lift, move, push, pull, and transport items weighing up to 40 pounds. Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when checking orders and processing inventory.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal warehouse environment up to 50 percent of work time with exposure to noise, dust, extreme temperatures, and dirt. Normal hospital environment up to 50 percent of work time with exposure to communicable diseases and infection from working on patient floors.
