For this position we are looking for an individual with 5+ years of individual income tax experience, who pays attention to detail and enjoys problem solving. This individual should have experience in client service and good communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple deadlines. At McDonald and Associates we want to give our employees the opportunity to expand their knowledge and excel in their career, an individual looking to further their career will be a great fit for our company.
Experience with these computer software programs is helpful:
MS Word and Excel
Accounting CS and Quickbooks
Tax preparation software
As a tax preparer you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following responsibilities:
Preparation of Individual, Business, and Estate tax returns
Conducting face-to-face tax interviews with clients
Researching tax laws and regulations
Assisting to minimize tax impact on clients
Responding to notices from tax authorities
Providing clients with a “wow” experience
Contribute to the success of the firm, our clients, and the community
Yearly pay is based on experience and qualifications.
