Capital Group is currently in need of an experienced and professional Technical Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for providing support to the FAA’s Air Traffic Organization (ATO) Operational Readiness Organization. Candidates must be self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. They must be well organized and able to assume responsibility for project deliverables with limited supervision and have demonstrated ability to excel and deliver results for clients. Candidate should possess strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, set priorities and handle tight deadlines. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Analyze and monitor contingency related operations within the NAS, and lead a broad range of activities, programs, and initiatives that communicate contingency metrics, risk assessments, trends and capability gaps.
Manage the development and execution of a Quality Control Plan, provide quality assurance checks and balances for compliance with standards and vision alignment.
Planning entails developing the plan to orchestrate projects, resources, timescales, monitoring and control.
Manage improvement of ongoing operational contingency performance assessment and systematically applying knowledge for program success.
Responsible for governance, which involves working with the overarching structure, processes and procedures to accomplish objectives, which include metrics of success and deliverables.
Regularly review for accountability and successful management of project and stakeholders.
Work with the operational (ATCT, EnRoute, Oceanic) stakeholders on developing and documenting operational contingency plans and exercises.
Candidate should possess excellent computer literacy with the ability to function in FAA multi-system software applications to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, SharePoint and the Automated Contingency Tool (ACT2).
Support the development of transformational Operational Readiness policies and guidance.
Develop operational contingency tools, techniques, and guidance documents as they pertain to the conduct in accordance with FAA’s JO 1900.47.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited US college or university.
Ten (10) years relevant experience.
Must be a US citizen and meet eligibility requirements for a US Public Trust.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project or program management certification is required.
Desired Skills and Experience
Knowledge of the FAA’s AJR-X Operational Readiness Programs.
Experience with the FAA AJR-X Operational Readiness Program Office.
Master’s degree.
Federal government consulting experience highly preferred.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
