We are seeking an experienced Research Technician Assistant for our Safety Assessment site located in Ashland, OH.
SIGN ON BONUS $1000.00
Candidates will train 15-19 weeks 1ST SHIFT (TUES-FRI 6AM-430PM) BEFORE GOING TO WEEKENDS OF FRI-SUN OR SAT-MON 6AM-630PM 10% PAY INCREASE) hourly rate $19/hour on 1st shift training- once training complete will go to $20.90/hour on weekends.

The Research Technician Assistant will collect and record data with minimal supervision in the performance of studies. Responsible for handling and restraining animals, clinical observations, sample collection, monitoring food consumption, animal husbandry, and performing accurate data collection and reporting. Administer test substances by various basic methods.

The following are minimum requirements related to the Research Technician Assistant position:

Education: High school diploma or General Equivalent Degree (G.E.D.).
Experience: 6 months to 1 year related experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
Certification/Licensure: ALAT preferred
Other: Ability to handle common laboratory species. Proficient in basic technical skills and the operation of data collection equipment. Knowledge of GLPs and other federal regulations and guidelines relating to the care of laboratory animals. Basic understanding of study design and protocols.
