What’s a typical day as a Transportation Associate You’ll be:
Responsible for understanding transportation/distribution concepts and the impact of transportation
Responsible for providing a perfect customer experience by coordinating delivery appointments with assigned customers and working with customers to optimize their supply chain
Collaborating with Suppliers, Supply Chain Management and O&M Distribution Centers to monitor, document, resolve or escalate statement disputes.
Preparing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reports with transportation metrics and KPI’s to support the continuous improvement of the Transportation network.
Communicating with customers to coordinate deliveries and optimize customer service.
Supporting and delivering the analysis of inbound freight performance in line with overall company goals.
Facilitating and driving initiatives, leading conference calls or on-site meetings to resolve issues and processes that support a culture of continuous improvement.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have two or more years of Transportation, Distribution or other related experience
Possess excellent analytical and issue resolution skills
Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to work with MS Excel at an intermediate level
Have solid verbal and written communication skills, as you will be in constant communication with facilities, carriers, customers, and other process partners as part of your daily activity
Have experience in freight claims investigation, filing, and tracking; freight planning and delivery appointment scheduling
