Job Summary and Qualifications

RAs an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be part of our friendly and compassionate Ultrasound team. We are proud to provide the “care like family” mission of the hospital. We are looking for someone to join our team that works hard to support each other where the patients are the center of all we do.
In this role:

You will perform a variety of Ultrasound Procedures and are responsible for exam protocols that provide diagnostic information to the interpreting physician.
You will have a working knowledge of the life-saving techniques and be capable of performing well under pressure.
You will assume the responsibility for specified examinations and will be responsible for introducing the basics of ultrasound to the student technologists.
You will be responsible for assessment, treatment of care appropriate to all ages of patients served.
You will demonstrate your knowledge and skills in obtaining and interpreting information in terms of the patients’ needs.

What qualifications you will need:

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
Graduation from an AMA- Approved school of Radiologic Technology
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
