Overview:
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Unit Associate to work at our Overlook Medical Center location in the Ortho/Surgical department, to work 7am-3pm, no weekends.
Responsibilities:
UA duties: Including but not limited to answering phones, call bells, visitor intercom, supply inventory and ordering, restocking supplies, supply procurement, preparing and maintaining patient charts, tracking patient flow in and out of the unit, and filing as needed.
Comply with hospital policies and procedures. Attend department and Unit Rep/PCT meetings, complete all necessary training, maintain competencies and participate in quality improvement projects. Demonstrate effective communication skills with patients, families, team members, and interdepartmentally. Ensure patient/family expectations are exceeded.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required. College preferred.
Requirements/Experience:
Prior administrative experience in health care preferred.
