Job Description :
The Vets in Training Program, a subsidiary of HousePaws Mobile Veterinary Service, is seeking a friendly, upbeat, people person who loves animals and children to join our work as an educator for classes at our education center and at area schools.
The ideal candidate is a warm and fun team player with excellent communication skills. They are a dependable professional who abounds with creativity and imagination and enjoys making learning fun for students of all ages and ability levels.
Educators are responsible for class preparation, instruction, and will help with animal care as needed. Must be willing to handle all of the friendly rescue animals at our Vets in Training Education Center, as well as drive the company vehicle to off-site classes.
Past teacher and/or veterinary technician experience is a plus, but not necessary.
This is a part time position with potential for full time.
