Job Description :
We are seeking a VP Marketing who can head up a new Marketing function for ProSmile, the premier Dental Service Organization in the tristate area with 60+ offices across NJ/PA/MD. This is a critical role in the organization, providing marketing and creative direction and expertise in activities which enable ProSmile to deliver the world’s best dental patient experience. They will champion our brand(s) and what we stand for, working with cross functional partners to drive consistency in a brand elevating way. This is an opportunity to collaborate across disciplines such as communications, field support and recruitment, to establish best practices, identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and drive consistent branding. Key to their success will be the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel effectively collaborating with other functions to drive integrated messaging and branding to ultimately deliver against marketing goals.
What you will do:
Understands ProSmile’s strategic priorities and aligns product opportunities to deliver against business goals
Identify opportunities to evolve how we communicate the brand(s)
Break down the competition and understand why competitors think they’re great, why they’re winning with the consumers we want to attract, and the white spaces we can innovate and deliver against to reach our goals
Unleash selling at every point of the funnel. Create compelling selling strategies and promotions that motivate and spur success through the funnel. Partner with other stakeholder to create compelling selling strategies across ProSmile and its office brands
Possesses deep knowledge of the customer. Knows our customer issues, pains, desires, how they think, and how they decide to purchase
Builds strong relationships with ProSmile stakeholders. Understands stakeholder constraints and delivers products. Understand the performance of the portfolio at the total operational level, as well as funnel stage, geography or other subset of operations
Improve effectiveness and the ROI of marketing investments through optimization in partnership with shared services (e.g., paid media, social, affiliates, CRM, web site, analytics, insights)
Develop, deploy and manage integrated marketing best practices and processes across the marketing organization e.g. project & creative management, manage the intranet advertising and marketing web page, internal communication plan for marketing projects
What you bring:
Minimum 7 years of demonstrated product marketing experience, ideally in the dental or healthcare industry
Work experience with companies in start-up or transformational change mode
Experience working with branding agencies, communications teams, and creative teams
Track record leading organization through high growth and change management
Deep understanding of best practices in marketing including analytical rigor and curiosity that will break down performance into actionable insights/opportunities
Have a pulse on marketing trends and identify new opportunities to advance our brand from an internal and employer perspective
Passion for continuous improvement and record of setting and exceeding goals that enable organizational objectives
Entrepreneurial and nimble, takes ownership and drives forward amidst ambiguity while also building relationships and alignment
Effective communication, including writing, speaking, active listening and presentation skills
Proactive, solutions-oriented with ability to make in the moment decisions that drive efficiencies and improve end product
Prefers and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Organized, high attention to detail and experienced in managing multiple projects simultaneously
Self-driven, curious and passionate personality to collaborate effectively with a diverse set of business partners
