Business Resources Division (BRD) has a great opportunity for you to join a dynamic warehouse team where you will be responsible for fulfilling and packing customer orders, recording time and materials used, restocking inventory, and recording inventory into a Microsoft Windows Program – just to list a few regular duties. This position plays a key role in meeting program wide cost recovery and customer satisfaction goals, and in contributing to a work environment that fosters pride in being part of a winning team.

Duties
Some of what you will enjoy doing Pull warehouse orders/Shipping/Restocking/Operating Forklift and Pallet Jack
Pulls orders for customer orders by hand gathering, collating, and packaging already-produced items such as manuals, brochures, forms, CDs, posters, DVDs, stickers, etc.
Packs individual orders per customer requirements and postal/shipping regulations
Processes orders through freight companies, such as FedEx or UPS, Campus Mail, and USPS
Restocks and receives inventory and material as needed. Operates Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack as needed
Performs routine entry level bindery work
Assist higher level Bindery Specialist by the Feeding, take-off, inspection for quality, and boxing on the following machines:
Saddle stitcher trimmer
Collator
Adhesive perfect binders
Scitex labelers
Cutters
Folding machines
Operate the following equipment
Single head and multiple head drills
Counting machines
Hand stitchers
GBC punches
Spiral Comb
Padding machine (bracket)
Shrinkwrapper
Thermal binder
String and banding machines
Sort and prepare mailings per postal regulations
Process and prepare orders for shipment
Stack, glue and insert boards for padding
Hand collating and hand folding
Take off on web press folder
Packages finished materials
Operate forklift and power jack
Assists with Shipping, Envelope, Press and Receiving Departments as needed
Qualifications
Requirements:
High School Graduation or GED AND
Six months of clerical or technical experience in retail clerking, warehousing, stock keeping, shipping, or receiving and operation of material handling equipment. OR
Equivalent education/experience.
A driver’s license valid under Washington State law
Ability to Read, write and comprehend the English Language
Understand written and verbal instructions
Regularly lift 50 lbs
Bend and twist as needed
Climb ladders
Possess sufficient strength and agility to grasp, hold and handle a variety of objects
Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Be flexible, respond and accept change
Work independently as well as a part of a team
Accurately fulfill and process customer orders
Be proficient in Microsoft programs, such as excel, access, outlook, and word and other windows based programs

Shift Information: Day shift 7am – 3pm Monday – Friday Swing shift 12pm – 8pm Monday – Friday **Note this job offers a flexible working schedule.
