Express Employment Professionals of Livonia/Taylor, MI is currently seeking associates for our General Labor positions for local companies in the Westland/Romulus area. You will help with projects around the facility, working with a team in a warehouse setting. General Laborers will work as part of a team to complete tasks and achieve warehouse goals on a daily and weekly basis.
Job Duties for General Labor Workers may include:
Assisting production team
Quality Inspection
Loading and unloading materials and equipment
Using hand tools, staple guns, etc.
Building wooden and metal parts and pieces
Using power tools, various table saws and drills
Being able to read a tape measure
Helping around the warehouse
Safety Protocols !!!!!
Standing and walking entire shift.
What we look for in General Labor Workers :
Experience in an applicable setting
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and/or Heavy Lifting
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow directions
Use hand and power tools accurately.
Read a tape measure accurately.
Previous work experience with power tools/measuring tools REQUIRED!
