We will consider filling this position as in-training. The salary range will depend upon the level the position is filled at and the qualifications of the successful candidate:

Entry Level IT Support Technician 2 (Range 46 – $3,734 to $4,892)
IT Customer Support – Entry Level (Range 01IT – $4,758 to $6,244)
IT System Administrator – Entry Level (Range 03IT – $5,489 to $7,218)
Goal Level – IT Application Development – Entry Level (Range 04IT – $5,911to $7,754)

About the Division:
The Information Technology Division (ITD) exists to leverage technology to improve and sustain agency infrastructure and business processes, public safety infrastructure, and statewide emergency communications to facilitate the accomplishment of all agency goals.

Come join our Team and learn about the position:
As a member of the Web and SharePoint Support Team you will collaborate with our customers to share, improve, provide feedback on, and validate ideas, products, and business processes that we come up with together to create sustainable value for the business. You will develop, configure, and maintain the WordPress and SharePoint environments to support the agency’s enterprise internet and intranet sites that are used daily internally and externally by local, state, and federal criminal justice agencies, and the general public.

Duties

This is what you’ll do:

Consult with business partners to understand their business objectives and processes in order to recommend technical solution for their business initiatives
Design, develop, test, implement, remediate, and administer SharePoint and WordPress sites, including user experience (UX), plugins, workflows, navigation, site hierarchy, taxonomy, analytics, and security
Provide liaison and consulting services to help desk, technical staff, and agency business programs
Provide business analysis and define business and technical requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve operational requests

Qualifications

Top Candidates will have the following experience:

Associates or Technical Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and two years of Information Technology experience OR four years of Information Technology experience
Two years of experience designing, developing, and administering SharePoint site collections, including workflows, navigation, site hierarchy, taxonomy, and security
Two years of experience designing, developing and administering web sites using web development tools, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
One year of experience gathering, analyzing and translating business requirements
Proficient using Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
