Job Description
Full-time displays/exhibit/ shop laborer. Required is a strong mechanical aptitude. Build and finish custom exhibit properties and fixtures to required specifications. Produce quality, finished work using a variety of material within clearly defined, expected deadlines.
Qualifications
Carpentry expertise, retail display and/ or commercial millwork a plus.
The use of saws, routers, pneumatic nail & staple guns, gluing and lamination as well as various power and hand-held tools.
Able to read & comprehend detail shop drawings as well as adhere to quality building standards and specifications.
Effectively work as part of a team while interfacing with all levels of staff and clientele.
Work well in a fast-pace, rapidly changing work environment.
Adhere to company safety guidelines.
Flexibility to work occasionally weekends and overtime during hectic, busy times with production deadlines looming.
Minimum high school education or equivalence.
Comfortable with hand tools, drills, saws, tape measure, power tools, table saws etc.
Able to be on feet for 8-10 hours per day and be able to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, & lift 50 pounds.
Able to drive forklift; certification a plus.
Occasional travel for offsite installations.
